24 hours have passed since the https://bsod.pw solo mining pool launch!
As we expected in the last post it was a pretty hyped event with the miners.
More than 10% of the found blocks in the last 24 on https://bsod.pw have been found through solo mining!
Furthermore, we want to note that for solo mining not only your hashrate, nethash and network difficulty are important. TTF is calculated from it and this is what you should look at. You can find your TTF on your wallet page on https://bsod.pw. Please also note that TTF is just an estimation, for TTF of 2 hours doesn’t mean that you will find a block every 2 hours, it’s hugely depended on luck in the short run.
If you have TTF of more than 60 minutes, it will probably be more profitable to mine on a shared pool, unless you wish to test your luck.
To lower your TTF you can rent some mining power on Nicehash.com or Miningrigrentals.com
To mine solo on our pool https://bsod.pw — add -p m=solo to your miner config.
Example:
-a ALGO -o stratum+tcp://eu.bsod.pw:PORT -u WALLET.rig -p m=solo
